HOW I WORK

Be it a brand new idea or a script you’ve already gone 12 rounds with, every project eventually needs a fresh set of eyes. My job is to assess what’s not working and help you figure out how to fix it.
My approach is highly-individualized. I’m not one to give cookie-cutter notes, nor will I encourage you to take your script in a direction you fundamentally dislike (though I will always tell you if your story is not working as intended).
Instead, we will work together to figure out the specific story you’re most compelled to tell, determine how the plot or structure isn't currently serving that story, then brainstorm solutions to improve it. Only when we know your top creative priorities can we truly understand what isn't working about your concept in its present form.
consultation PROCESS

After making an appointment, you'll send me any materials to review at least 72 hours prior to our session.

When we meet we'll discuss your script or concept at length. We'll talk about your artistic intentions and personal connection to the project, and use what we learn to determine which elements of the plot and execution aren't serving your story in its current form. Discussions are highly dynamic, as my feedback will adapt to the answers you give.

Please note, I do not provide written feedback. However, you may keep a recording our meeting for later reference.*
*If you will be wanting a recording, please alert me at the beginning of the session to ensure we record.
